I'm Back -- Did you miss me?

Holy cow, what a rough few years. Well -- I am going to skimp on some personal details, but I am going to try to get this blogging thing another chance. Just try to throw something down as a warm-up to the serious writing.

Well -- "Spooksayer" got mini-scrapped. I did finish a better outline from which I am going to be working on from here. Also thinking about doing outlines for my other projects. Normally, I pooh-poohed such things as pre-writing frivolity... but dang it all if it doesn't work. "Spooksayer"'s outline was streamlines, kept to the important story and really helped me organize my thoughts, so I'm going to try to set up a schedule to work on different novel ideas during the week:

Monday: Unchained -- outline
Tuesday: Valentina's Feast -- outline
Wednesday: Zeno's Calendar -- outline
Thursday: After Ever -- script (this one's a comic book script)
Friday: Do some fan fiction (what? where did you think I got the idea I was a decent writer?)
Saturday: work on "Spooksayer" all day
Sunday: work on "Spooksayer" again

Of course, the real test is going to be whether or not I stick with this. As some of you may know, I have a bad track record when it comes to sticking to schedules, but this time will be different (stop laughing... I can hear you out there).

Well -- my personal life remains the same: shady, mysterious and not worth taking up valuable 1's and 0's. I will however take the time to recommend a graphic novel series: The Walking Dead. The art work is fantastic, the story is realistic and well thought out. It's also coming to AMC (American Movie Channel), and they have two really good series out there now (Mad Men and Breaking Bad). Give the novel a shot.
